Remote Deposit Specialist

Our Remote Deposit Specialist will be responsible for processing remotely deposited checks that come in to the Credit Union through various sources, keeping vigilant to detect potential fraud and suspicious deposits.

 

Duties:

  • Receives and processes remotely deposited checks from various channels
  • Balances checks received through mobile and ITM check totals
  • Maintains knowledge of check acceptance policies and procedures in order to assist in fraud prevention
  • Recognized potential fraud related deposits and takes appropriate action
  • Works closely with Loss Prevention on fraud related submissions
  • Communicates effectively with members regarding deposit holds
  • Resolving balancing issues
  • Backs up Operations staff when needed

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Trust and diplomacy is required
  • Professional demeanor
