Communications Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator helps to improve Azura’s competitive position and enhances member awareness for the Credit Union’s products and services. In support of the Credit Union’s mission and vision, the Communications Coordinator participates in planning, development and execution of the marketing department’s tactics in support of its overall goals and objectives.

Duties:

• Conducts market research, analyzes factors such as: pricing, distribution and product performance. Delivers recommendations for product/service modifications or improvements. 
• Assists in marketing and sales planning, including analysis of competitive products/services and selling techniques, legislation, budgets, pricing and distribution. 
• Leads in content creation (copy writing, photography, graphics) and scheduling for a variety of mediums including print, digital, email, social, signage and television. 
• Assists in the development of advertising campaigns including identifying target markets/demographics, mediums, materials and themes.
• Develops targeted marketing campaigns to be utilized with account aggregation module.  
• Analyzes the results of the campaigns and delivers recommendations or modifications as needed.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• College degree preferred. Equivalent knowledge attained through on the job experience will be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Open to constructive criticism, feedback and collaboration
• Significant level of trust, diplomacy, courtesy and tact
