Desktop Support Associate

Our Desktop Support Associate provides personal computing hardware, software, and communication support to maintain the efficiency of the organization’s desktop computer systems.  The Desktop Support Associate will help ensure department services are delivered professionally and efficiently

Duties:

• Provides technical assistance on hardware, software or communication issues.
• Monitors and makes system updates/modifications for the Credit Union’s personal computing systems.
• Sets up personal computing hardware and software according to credit union requirements
• Maintains personal computers and other peripherals such as printers, scanners, cameras, etc.
• Provides assistance to both technical and non-technical staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• One month to one year of similar or related experience.
• Two-year college degree or equivalent knowledge attained through on the job experience or a specialized course of study.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail with minimal errors.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Able to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Professionalism, courtesy and a service mind-set.
• Effective time management and follow through skills.
• PC/Technology proficiency. System knowledge
