Marketing Manager

As Azura continues to grow and expand into new markets, we recognize the continuing importance of our Marketing efforts and ensuring their success!  We are adding a Marketing Manager to help oversee the creative staff and assist us in achieving departmental and organizational goals. Work will involve oversight and provision of feedback regarding output of creative staff, managing the website and internal/external communication platforms. Provides continuous direction, training and professional development of marketing personnel.

In support of the Credit Union’s mission and vision, provides leadership through collaboration which helps accomplish overall objectives for the department as well as participates in planning and further development of the Marketing department.  

Responsibilities:

• Provides guidance for creative staff both in connection with work product and in helping achieve overall departmental goals.
• Assists in the planning, development and implementation of effective marketing and promotion strategies as well as advertising and sales promotions.
• Responsible for managing all aspects of the Azura website.
• Oversees all communication platforms (Digital App, On-line Banking (DI and Pulsate) to include relaying design and item changes or changes in direction as well as copy editing as needed to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of output.
• Administration of Marketing ticket system and delegation of tickets to ensure effective and timely resolutions.
• Assists and oversees creative collaboration, design and copy as needed.
• Develops efficiencies within the department and when collaborating with other departments within the organization.
• Represents the Credit Union well; promotes the Credit Union to employees and works with outside vendors and other entities to maintain positive relationships.
• Communicates successfully with outside vendors to complete objectives.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of similar or related experience in banking, marketing or creative role.
• College degree preferably in Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of consumer behaviors, banking product benefits and features. Preferred understanding of core and marketing alignment/processes.
• Banking, sales background experience preferred.
• Design understanding and ability to communicate creative needs to a team.
• Adobe Creative Cloud & Hubspot experience is a plus. Husbpot certification can be provided by the credit union for those willing to learn.
• Proven ability to successfully lead a team.
• Integrity, accountability, Innovative thinking, and a passion for service.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective time management, organization and delegation.
• Communication and collaboration within a team environment and with other employees as deemed necessary for project completion.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products including: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Microsoft office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Power Point
• Experience with with web design or Content Management Systems. Ability to work or desire to

acquire that knowledge.
