Graphic Designer

As Azura strives to be the best, we recognize the continued importance of our Marketing efforts. We do our best to ensure that our members and prospective members are aware of the wonderful products and services we have to offer. Azura Credit Union is adding a Graphic Designer in support of that effort. Work will involve developing advertisements, creative design and content for programs and marketing activities through various mediums. Will also be looked to for provision of marketing materials to assist with communications to help accomplish Azura’s overall goals.

Responsibilities:

• Designs and creates professional layouts for publications, promotional materials, branded materials, advertisements and communications in support of our outreach efforts.
• Coordinates activities with printers, service agencies, advertisers and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Maintains design asset database and corresponding releases.
• Provides photography services for organizational needs including but not limited to advertisements, event photography and headshots.
• Monitors trends in communication and design techniques: tools, applications, channel designs and strategies and makes recommendations for enhancements to enrich our outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of similar or related experience including brand development and management.
• Associates Degree in marketing, graphic design, art or related field or equivalent on the job experience.
• Demonstrated creativity and extensive design experience using Adobe Creative programs.
• Understanding of traditional electronic design concepts and printing capabilities.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail.
• Thoroughness and good follow through skills.
• Time management skills, working well within timelines and deadlines.
• Open to feedback for change requests.
• Works well independently as well as collaboratively.
• Strong problem solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Effective conflict resolution skills.
