Azura Welcomes New Teachers
August is always an exciting time of year at Azura Credit Union. As summer winds down and the new school year approaches, one of our favorite traditions is gearing up to celebrate and support the new teachers who are stepping into their classrooms. This year, we had the wonderful opportunity to spread some back-to-school cheer by delivering welcome bags and treats to educators in Topeka, Lenexa, Mission, Olathe, DeSoto and Ottawa.
Our staff takes immense pride in this annual initiative, as it allows us to personally extend our gratitude and appreciation to the dedicated teachers who play such a crucial role in shaping the future of our communities. We understand that the beginning of the school year can be both exhilarating and overwhelming for new teachers, and our goal is to make their transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

A Tradition of Supporting Education
Supporting education has always been close to our hearts at Azura Credit Union. We believe that investing in our teachers and students is an investment in the future of our community. Over the years, we’ve been involved in numerous educational initiatives and programs that help foster learning and growth. This tradition of giving back is part of what makes our work so fulfilling and aligns with our mission to serve and support our local communities.

Why This Matters
The impact of a supportive community on new teachers cannot be overstated. Starting a new job, especially in a field as demanding and impactful as education, comes with its share of challenges. By providing these welcome bags, we hope to show that the community values and supports the teachers who are dedicating their time and talents to our children's education.
In addition to the practical benefits of the items in the welcome bags, we also hope that this gesture serves as a reminder of the community's appreciation and encouragement. A warm welcome can make a significant difference in helping teachers feel at home and ready to tackle the exciting year ahead.
