Association/Club/Organization/Informal Group
These unincorporated, informal associations, organizations may set up business accounts to hold funds donated or dedicated towards a common benefit of their group.

Business Documents:

  •  Meeting Minutes, designating account be opened and authorized signers
  •  IRS document, designating EIN. Available at 

Sole Proprietorship
A sole proprietorship account is a business account that is owned by an individual business owner or a married couple in business alone.

  •  IRS Document, if using an EIN instead of your social security number

Limited Liability Company (LLC)
An LLC is formed by one or more individuals and/or business entities through a written operating agreement. The operating agreement will determine who are the managing members of the business.

  •  Articles of Organization,State of Kansas LLC Application
  •  Operating Agreement 
  •  IRS Document designating the EIN, if applicable 

A partnership account is held by two or more persons.  The partnership is registered with the Secretary of State designating if they are a General Partnership, Limited Partnership, or Limited Liability Partnership.
