Making a Difference Together: 2026 Community Grants Awarded

The Topeka Credit Union Foundation recently awarded $36,500 in community grants to nine local nonprofit organizations during its annual Benefactors Breakfast, helping fund programs that strengthen families, support youth, promote financial education and improve quality of life throughout Northeast Kansas.

Created in 2004 through the collaborative efforts of Topeka-area credit unions, the Foundation continues to invest in organizations making a meaningful impact in our communities. Since its inception, the Foundation has distributed more than $549,000 in grant funding to local nonprofits.

"When local organizations and community partners come together, we can accomplish more than any one of us could alone." said Katie Beach, Secretary of the Topeka Credit Union Foundation. "The programs supported through these grants will have a lasting impact, and Azura is proud to help support the important work being done across Northeast Kansas."

The 2026 grant recipients include:

Funded projects range from financial literacy education and workforce development training to food pantry support, child advocacy services, healthcare counseling and youth enrichment programs. Together, these initiatives help create stronger, healthier communities across the region.

As a proud supporter of the Topeka Credit Union Foundation, Azura Credit Union is honored to be part of this collective effort to give back and create lasting impact in the communities we serve.
