Community Impact

Credit unions were founded on the philosophy of “People Helping People”. 
At Azura, our goal is to improve more lives. 
We are committed to our community through:

Happier, healthier families are a result of stronger communities, and at Azura, we work to nurture both. At Azura, all employees are provided time through our volunteer leave program to give back to their community by volunteering with a non-profit organization of their choice.

Our charitable giving focuses on four areas of community impact:

  • Education
  • Quality of life and fundamental needs
  • Health and wellness
  • Community revitalization

We educate our members and community by providing educational resources through our certified financial counselors and financial seminars for our members and the business community.

"People Helping People"

As an organization so closely tied to our local communities, we receive numerous requests for donations. We strive to fulfill as many requests as possible.

We offer two unique options for donation requests: 

Donation Requests

Azura Credit Union is proud to be a community partner and supporter by helping fund local charitable organizations, projects and events. To help ease the process of applying, we have provided an online form for all donation requests exceeding $250. For all other donation requests, please complete the form provided and visit your local Azura Credit Union branch. We appreciate your assistance in submitting requests well in advance of your funding date so your request can be adequately reviewed and considered. Ideally, requests for donations will be submitted at least two months prior to the date funding is requested.

Mini-Grant Requests

At Azura, our vision is to improve more lives and one of the many ways we do this is by supporting local teachers and schools with our mini-grant program.  Local area teachers may request up to $300 to benefit their classroom(s). Please note: Requests for classroom expenses that include some technology items such as iPads and smart boards, travel expenses, or food for classroom events are currently not eligible for the mini-grant program.

Make a purchase, make a difference, community impact card

Our Community Impact Card allows you to make a purchase and make a difference!

  • Available with all checking accounts
  • Initial one time $2 fee
  • Choose from one of our Charities of Choice for your donation:
    • Topeka Rescue Mission
    • TARC
    • More to come in 2017
  • Each time you make a purchase with your Azura card, we will donate 5 cents to the charity of your choice
