Financial Associate Supervisor

The Financial Associate Supervisor is responsible for the coaching, training and development of the Financial Associates to meet production and performance goals. This role has the responsibility to drive the team toward creating a member experience that exceeds expectations and provides exceptional member service. This role will ensure the team explores needs and educates members on Credit Union products that will benefit them and expand their financial relationship with the Credit Union.

Responsibilities:

  • Shares responsibility for establishing and maintaining exceptional financial relationships with members by ensuring all staff are acting in their best interest. Looking at the entire financial picture and promptly resolving all requests and questions.
  • Continually coaches staff in order to improve department productivity and meet established goals. Reviews and analyzes activity reports and coaches to achieve desired results.
  • Ensures personnel are well-trained in all phases of their respective jobs.  Completes orientation of new employees in overall department procedures. Cross-trains staff as necessary.
  • Tracks individual progress and conducts timely performance appraisals.
  • Stays abreast of all current policies and procedures and communication to the team any changes to either.

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of similar or related experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Two-year college degree or equivalent knowledge attained through on the job experience.
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Analytical; has the ability to ask discerning questions and solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
